About the Maker
Meng Xian Hong can be called the father of the modern day Liuqin. He was the one who added fine tuners and leg rest to the Liuqin. Although they are in no way a major change to the Liuqin, their invention is so desirable that almost every Liuqin nowadays are fitted with something similar to the fine tuners he added. Over the years, he has also tested many variants of the Liuqin, including but not limited to, the Alto Liuqin, and the Six-stringed Liuqin.
