What it is
This is pair of mouth flute or Koudi, as we call it in Chinese.
The different pitches of the Koudi is controlled by the two thumbs and two index fingers on both hands.
The sound that comes out of the mouth flute is very sharp and bright and it is usually played to mimic the sound of a bird chirping.
The tuning of the koudi needs to be controlled by the angle of your air motion as well as adjusting the position of your thumbs.
This is a set of 2 koudi is in the key of D and G.
